Hello there, I’m Kylie! I am originally from Singapore where I was awarded the Public Service Commission scholarship to study in the US. I graduated in 2016 from Johns Hopkins University, triple majoring (with honors) in public health, anthropology and Italian studies. My undergraduate experience allowed me to discover so many new interests (I picked up Italian and French!) as I’m sure you will find out. Currently, I’m doing my master’s degree at Harvard University in medical anthropology. My current research focuses on biopolitics and gender inequalities in 20th century Italy. The college application process is certainly daunting, especially for an international student. My advice is to distinguish your application by highlighting your unique personality and interests. I’m looking forward to working with you and getting you into the right college for you!
